Join us on a birding tour to Southern Spain April 10-18, 2020 with expert birder and tour guide Fernando Navarrete, with a several day extension to either Morocco or Madeira or to see the Iberian Lynx depending on interest. We’ll explore a variety of habitats in and around Monfragüe and Doñana National Parks in Extremadura and Andalucia, as well as visiting some fascinating historic towns. During this trip of just over a week, we’ll be based in just 2 hotels in order to minimize transport time and maximize birding and fun time. Fernando grew up near Sevilla, Spain and operated a bird banding station in that area for years, so he knows this area very well and still lives here. He now works as a bird guide full time, working primarily for several British companies, but last year also lead a tour of southern Spain
for Bird Watcher’s Digest.
